Standing on the side of my window I contemplate the landscape. It shows different colors of nature unreplicable by human hand. Flowers, leaves, insects, and more express how diverse life is. Every creature has its own identity unique to all. Thus, If only I can represent the beauty that I see through painting, I thought, it would invoke a profound meaning of life in me. |

That evening, as I began to paint the flower placed in front of me, I notice that my eyes and my hand have similar synchronization in form, shape and color, yet skills in need of practice. However I thought, I have the rest of my life to practice, and to explore everyday encounters with nature and the world around me. A light came through that evening inside of me, allowing me to see within me a meaning for existence. |
